Alejandro Martinez-Peña
Alejandro Martinez-Pena was born in Monterrey, Mexico in 1957. He received his Bachelor's degree in 1979 in Architecture, yet in the years following, studied the art of painting. His work is a representation of the community and social contrasts. He delivers such consciousness through colors. His use of texture and color provides the eye with depth and excitement. His technical ability and heritage are felt deeply in his work. Figures, music and personal experiences in Martinez-Pena's paintings are delivered with positive energy and in a lyrical way. |
