Susan Schmidt
The enigmatic images of Susan Schmidt create for the observer a magical world at once familiar and disquieting.
The use of diminutive human figures, surrounded or dominated by monumental flowers, marbles or dolls, birds in flight or living sculptures combine to create a silent visual poetry, puzzling and provocative, elusive and yet somehow nostalgic.
