Marcella Villasenor
Born in Mexico City she studied at the National School of Fine Arts and at the University of Paris, later she received the MFA in sculpture form the San Diego State University. She had several exhibitions on museums and prestigious galleries in Europe, USA, Mexico. Her recent works (paintings, collages, photography’s) reveal the fusion between past-present, pre-hispanic and western contemporary world. Marcela uses multimedia technology, digital video and photography to convey to the viewer her effort to understand our past, who we are and where we are going. |
