Appraisals
We offer appraisals by Specialized, MA International Society of Appraisers and CAPP.

We have a Certified Appraiser of Personal Property, specializing in art and antiques with an emphasis in Contemporary work and the work of living artist.

Our appraiser was trained at Christies Manhattan Decorative Arts Course and the Winterthur Winter Institute, holds an MA in Historic Preservation/Art History from the University of San Diego and a BA Magna Cum Laude from Tuffs University in Boston.

Rather than being an educated guess, a professional appraiser's value conclusions are based on prescribed methods of evaluation, research and report writing. Part of our profession is to understand the importance of your collection.

We are specialzed since 1973 to organize auctions of Contemporary and Modern Fine Art including paintings, sculptures, drawings, gouaches, lithographs, etchings, woodcuts and photographs by International Artists from 1920-2003.

A selection of the Artworks are from the gallery collection and the private collection of the Director of Galerie D'Art International, Mr. Filippo M. Floridia D'Altavilla. His collection has been built over the last 35 years, throughout his career and his former galleries in Milan and Paris, as well as from American, Mexican and European Artists represented by Galerie D'Art International. In addition, we accept on consignment selected artwork to be auctioned.

Restoration & Conservation enables one to preserve the historic integrity of paintings and works of art on paper. Conservation treatments protect and maintain art for future generations to enjoy. Restoring damaged art improves the aesthetic quality. The result of appropriate conservation and restoration brings back the original splendor, increases the value and adds longevity to your treasured items. Services include; cleaning, removal of harmful materials, fumigation, neutralization, mounting, re-lining, sizing replacement, repairing damage, re-varnishing and inpainting.
